What is the problem. I use dosbox and I have a directory called c:\trains.
I just run dosbox, and then enter the command mount c c:\trains, then cd to c:\ in dosbox and run the simulation...

Being the "victim" of Vista, I would welcome any attempts to design new Windows Vista versions as well as retooling older simulations. I keep trying to use DOS Box and/or D-Fend, but I am stymied. I'm sure that the culprit is the location of the Trains folder in the C drive rather than directly in C.
Thanks!
Dave

produce our first Windows-only simulation. This is intended to look
and feel similar to Brian's trial version of Isle of Wight.
It would be helpful to know how many of you are still running
something other than XP or Vista, and would have trouble running a
Win-32 application, or accessing a .chm help file. Looking to the
future, it seems to make sense to use the latest base point we can, to
push as far as possible into the future the time when MS pull the rug
out from under us again.
Best wishes,
Tim.
