Members of Sietar Europa committed to rais fund, and financial sponsoring and resourcing to enable students and interculturalists from less economically advantaged countries of greater involvement with Sietar congress and activities, and to increase attendance diversity.

Sietar Europa Funding Committee wishes to take the following Action plans:

For Berlin 2004:

1. Add a check box on membership renewal form to show sponsorship of a student membership
2. Add tick box on congress registration form as above
3. Establish sponsorship fund to pool money from those who can not sponsor someone 100% (+ Fund Committee) in collaboration with Young Sietar Committee
4. Announce fund on Sietar web site
5. Agree on sponsorship application criteria and output
6. Devise partial assistance program

Long Term Action Plans:
1. Mentor and Exchange program between yourn and experienced interculturalists.
2. Corporate funding information
3. Internship programmes: invite students to observe your programmes in exchange for research duties
4. Invite pre & post workshop presenters to donate all or part of their fees to the fund

SIETAR memebership is =<10% of consultant daily rate
Congress is =< 2 days consultancy
Polish Student, for example lives on 150 Euro/month
