Question about UK licencing: colour declaration   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #275 of 580 |
Has anyone in the UK had recent dealings with the DVLA regarding colour
changes? I had a letter from DVLA telling me that the colours shown on
my V5C(maroon /cream) weren't a recognised colour combination, even
though the newstyle MoT showed two colours (white/red; I presume the
discrepancy is why I got the letter). The letter has a form only
offering one colour or `multicolour' options. I've tried ignoring it
but they sent me another, & my MoT is due soon (it might cause a
refusal).

So what does everyone else have on their documents; is it just the
prime colour or have you got it listed as multicolour?

Steve Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. I reckon some bored jobsworth at DVLA got given this pointless task of checking V5Cs against the new MoTs...
