Hi Russ

I have just been through some log books and have found that the A10 is
recorded as Black/Gold, as you know it is just Black.
The KL250 is still down as being Red despite having been more shades
of Green than Raffertys motor car as well as Black.
The all Black R65 is classed as Beige/Black (and before you ask
"Beige" is listed as "colour" not "vehicle category" or "power/weight
ratio").
Also my old transit van was always registered as White although I had
hand painted it with a roller and a tin of Dulux "British Racing
Green" exterior gloss.
I have never had a problem with colours not matching log books (new
and old style) but it might be worth giving the MOT station or the
DVLA a call.

Hope this is of some help.

Cheers Steve.

PS. I have just looked in my copy of the "Haynes guide to odd coloured
motorcycles of the sixties" and apparently Triumph did registered a
Rust/Magnolia colour scheme, coincidence ????

PPS. Homebase have got a 10% off deal, you could just repaint it for
the MOT.

Steve Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. I reckon some bored jobsworth at DVLA got given this pointless task of checking V5Cs against the new MoTs...
