Hi Kaete -
As it happens I read this immediately after I sent you an email from my personal account.
Looking forward to talking with you.

I'm really sorry.
PC about 3 months ago decided they want a PC member to run the site, because it is a core ministry of the parish.
This is what I was hoping we could chat about after we had our abbreviated conversation at Back to Church Sunday. Our hoped-for follow-up conversation didn't eventuate ... then your email saying UPDATE came and I thought you must have got the message some other way.
Michael Marklew is the PC website enthusiast and has taken the first steps in managing the website.
He is also in process of restoring the site to give it back the material that was there.
I have been slack in not telling him all the detail that he needs to attend to with this and I need to sit down with him to clarify some stuff.
A new and quite important link I have yet to give him is to sites run by John Power - now employed by the Bishop - you might be interested in http://www.philozed.com
Really good stuff for us all and for people 'on the edge' of the tradition. Worth a visit.
Anyway, I'm sorry that my/our communication has been so bluddy lousy and hope atht you will hang in there with ideas for the site!
Cheers
Stephen

Subject: [StAugustinesParish] New St A website

Hi all,

Have to admit I was more than a little taken aback when I viewed for the
first time the new St A website today. http://www.merewetheranglican.org.au/

Gone are the links, and the other stuff, which I put in previously and, gone
too is the website counter, and on the main page (can't remember the exact
wording) the bit about welcoming people whatever their gender and sexual
preferences.

It would have been nice, I think, as the website manager previously, to have
been consulted prior to these changes taking place. However, and for
whatever reason, I haven't.

well wishes,
Kaete
