I agree with you, in that, as you say: ‘my/our communication has been so bluddy lousy’. It was, in fact, incredibly lousy, and, moreover, that I wasn’t told, beforehand, that the www.merewetheranglican.org.au/ site was being taken over was, I think, somewhat rather inexcusable.
I was more than happy, despite increasingly becoming atheist, and increasingly becoming cynical (as my dear mother, 83 years of age, and stalwart of my life, has been as well) of Christian religion, to continue management of the site. I had put in many hours, over the last two years, doing so, and I was quite prepared to continue doing so.
I see the new site doesn’t contain reference to the acceptance in the church of GLBT and Intersex persons. I suggest that this in future be better addressed. GLBTI persons comprise of the overall general population, around about 7%.
