The parish of Our Lady and St. Edmund is part of the Thames Isis Pastoral Area, which includes worshipping communities at Didcot, East Hendred, East Ilsley, North Hinksey and Wallingford. Together with the other worshipping communities it is represented at the Pastoral Area Leadership Meeting.

Abingdon is in the northern most part of the Diocese of Portsmouth, comprising the counties of Hampshire, Berkshire (south of the Thames), Oxfordshire, Dorset (east of the original boundary), the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands. Bishop Crispian Hollis is our Bishop.

Our Church is a member of "The Church in Abingdon", which includes 14 different Christian congregations.
