TANGO TANGO at Cromer Pavilion

Saturday 18th October

8.00pm

Award-winning musician and author, Justin Pearson, has created "Tango Tango", a show that transports its audience into the world of Buenos Aires and that strictly passionate, and most intimate of dances, the Tango.

The great genius of the medium, Astor Piazzolla, is depicted as a passionate composer, an outsider who fought, connived and survived for his music. Alongside actor Patrick Lannigan, are five great musicians, "Tango Volcano" ("These guys are magnificent!" BBC London Radio) and two dancers. The melancholy voice of the bandoneon provides the authentic sound of the tango, and includes some of the great tangos from the 'Golden Era'. Tango carries with it a sexy and sophisticated image, and has evolved from the many "salons", both in Argentina and abroad. This thriving underworld dances through the night in hidden clubs but in this show, explodes with colour and movement that is simply irresistible.

Tickets: £16.00
