7.30 - 9.30pm

Yvonne will be teaching a 2 hour workshop (with a short comfort break) this Friday instead of the usual 2 x 45  minute classes. Beginners may attend for the first part of the workshop and improvers/intermediates will continue to the end.  Norwich Tango will be subsidising this workshop and prices will stay the same as the usual guest teacher price. (ie. £6/£5 for improvers/intermediates or £5/£4 for beginners who are just doing the first part). This is a progressive workshop, so please attend from the start.

Theme: Clear cut soft ochos, voleos and cortes.

".... Tenderness and just body communication is an essential means of expression in daily life in Argentina. A touch is aimed at listening to the response and feedback of the other person, showing respect for the feelings of the other. There, tango functions as a way of tender communication in general and starts with a decisive, elegant way of walking and overall awareness and physical presence in space...."

Mousehold Heath Fun Day, Norwich

Sunday July 26th   (Tango 2pm - 2.30pm)

Come along to help promote Argentine Tango by dancing at Mousehold Heath on the outdoor dance floor and then assisting in a tango taster class taught by Michael Lavocah to encourage new dancers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NORWICH TANGO WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER BREAK OVER AUGUST. THE LAST FRIDAY WILL BE 31ST JULY AND WE WILL REOPEN ON FRIDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER.
