Geoff,

I should have mentioned that it is a TLS. That is why I was specifying
the Bitubo particularly - I'd not come across any others that replaced
the spring on the S. I'm glad to see that I was correct - it doesn't
happen often. ;-)

I placed a similar request in another place (TLPlanet) and have spoken
to guy who is happy to sell me one he has already. This will mean I
don't have to wait for the factory lead times etc. and can be back on
the road ASAP.

been hearing a few horror stories about TL frames cracking across the web that mounts the rear shok, according to my source this occurs when the rotary goes...

This happened to my TL 2 years ago. Frame was replaced by Suzuki. Binned the rotary damper. Now run a Bitubo shock with fantastic results. Best mod you can do...
