Last night at the Royal Albert Hall, Michael Malitowski and Joanna
Leunis, dancing for Poland, became the 53rd International Professional
Latin Champions.
The International is probably the most prestigous ballroom and Latin
dance competition in the world.
Michael and Joanna were as well received by the audience as by the judges.

In the Professional ballroom (aka standard) category, Christopher
Hawkins, a previous Champion with another partner, was awarded fifth
place dancing with his polish wife Justyna Hawkins (nee Kozinska).

In the amateur Latin catagory Przemek Lowicki and Jana Pokrovskaya,
dancing for Poland reached the semi-final, and other Poles qualified
for the Albert Hall stage of the competition.

dancing for Poland, reached the quarter final, and other Poles
