I assume everyone knows that the BBC is British Broadcasting
Corporation. It is paid for by a system in the UK where each
household with a TV must have a licence. The Board of Governors is
responsible for ensuring the BBC delivers value for money in return
for the Licence Fee. They want to hear what you think about the
programmes and services you get from the BBC.
The last time here in the UK, we tried to get a question raised at
the public meeting on 19th July about the lack of Polish coverage.
The next meeting is due on 23rd November in Glasgow.
Can I urge all of you regardless of where you live in the world to
ask the Governors to explain the lack of Polish coverage (e.g.
cutting the Polish world service, failure to properly recognise the
Polish contribution to the allied cause in WWII on their website).
The main question we are going to push for this time is why has the
BBC failed over the years to produce a documentary series on the
suffering of the people of Eastern Europe (such as the Polish
civilians deported to Siberia) at the hands of the then Soviet Union.

Ps If you could send me a copy of what you say then if they do not
response again, I will know how many people asked but still failed
to get a single question at the meeting
