Hi Michael
Thanks for reply. Was getting lonely! Look forward to pictures of Fertile and Vigilant. Read so much about Vigilant - who owns her now? I'll try and post photos tonight as tomorrow afternoon, if weather abates, I'm off out on Henry and coming back on Friday afternoon. Hoping everything holds together this time! Can't wait.
Good luck with job hunting, that's sounds serious...living dead -sounds like work!
On another subject, do you or does anyone know about Beatrice Maud? I bumped into a chap who wanted info on her and several other barges (Dorothy possibly one) that perhaps once made a small fleet working from the Thames. I have a name of Thornton. That's it - no more details as yet.
regards, Paul

Cheers Paul for the photos. What a lovely setting for a barge to be
in. Yes please Paul, any photos are good photos. Hopefully later today
I will be seeing "Fertile" close up and if I get the opportunity to
talk with the owner I will. Watch this space!! I will aslo (still) go
and check Vigilant at St.Osyth. Fancy locking your keys in the car!!
Quick slap to the forehead and say out aloud "Duh!" Not that I have
ever locked my keys in the car............!! Well okay ....maybe
once!! I have been out and about job hunting to supplement my art
work, it's been a bad year :-( I gave a talk and art demo last night,
not certain but I think it was to a group called the "Living Dead"!!
Crikey it was hard going! Dead horse and flogging comes to mind!!
