Hi!

As promised here's another show not on the trades list, of course this doesn't
mean it's not being traded. As before it's in 320kbps MP3, if anyone actually
wants these posts in FLAC LMK.

I hope those of you downloading are digging the uploads and I hope it's not
ruffling any feathers that I'm posting these links. If anyone thinks I'm doing
the wrong thing posting these links here and stepping on any toes please let me
know, I don't want to upset anyone.

Next show planned for posting is...

1989-05-16 - Modernes, Bremen, Germany

And here's Bill...

Bill Spooner & C.H.U.D
Wolfgangs, San Fransisco, CA
28th March 1986

Format: MP3@320
Source: Audience recording, a couple of generations down the line.

Recieved on audio cassette by trade some time in the 1990s.

This is an interesting little show with Bill at his loose, ramshackle best. Or
worst, depending on how you view the man. Playing several songs from his current
album 'First Chud' Bill also pulls out a few surprises including a storming
version of 'Dreams Come True' from the Tubes' unreleased 'Suffer for Sound'
album.

Other highlights include a barnstorming 'Only in a Dream' featuring a couple of
fantastic Sputnik guitar solos, easily as good as I've ever heard him play.
There's also a visit from then Tubes' vocalist David Killingworth on the
unreleased 'Eye for an Eye', a solo rendition of 'Ukelele Lady' on Uke and a
country-tinged version of the previously acappella 'Something in my Eye'.

Now the downsides. First the tapers are very close to the mic and very
enthusiastic. This means that there's a lot of talking and interjecting in
between songs. The audio is quite muddy in places and there's a fair amount of
distortion. As if that wasn't enough there are also a few small tape cuts and,
following the tape flip at the end of 'Only The
Strong Survive' there are a lot of drop outs, particularly the left channel
which frequently disappears for most of The final medley.

Still, this is an interesting and, for the most part, enjoyable show from an
artist who doesn't have many circulating live audios...unless you know better...

Any further info (particularly band member names), or if you have a cleaner
source, please let me know.
