Say, I made a copy of The Tubes' Live At the Greek" and would like to pass it on
to whoever wants it next. Please email me at davidgasten###yah00!!!c0m. I made
an extra copy so I could probably send it out to two people. First come first
served.

This is just my opinion but, It's great that this
Mainstream movie has Tubes connections in Mike and Kenny. I truly believe that MJ was guilty of the accusations made regarding child molestation. I hate to see him glorified. He was a (Want to be) White Perv On Dope who was Bay Crazy and deserved to be Drummed Out Of The Business.

I just saw the Michael Jackson movie, "This Is It."
I have to say this is a great movie. It shows some much of Jackson I had no idea existed.
The Tabloid agenda is stripped away and we get to see Michael interact with people he seems to consider his peers.
Kenny Ortega co-stars which is also amazing. The songs are great and it feels like a concert movie with out that tension or tedium.
Michael Cotten gets some screen time with the opening credits and in the movie when they go to him in his office and warehouse when they talk about the stage/scenery.
It would have been a great show at the O2 in London, the movie is a wonderful archive of the drive and passion of Michael Jackson.

Where is the Greek DVD now? the way a vine works, its travels can be easily followed in message posts. Mainly because each participant posts a message asking for an off the board email response. The response datail is posted and the orginal is off to the next person. Members make their own copy and everyone gets a chance (in time) to recieve the master vine disc.
Is this going on? Because everyone should get their chance. I'm just saying. Thanks...Patrick

I have 4 copies of the unreleased "Suffer for Sound" CD (aka "The Black Album")

There are 7 tracks on "Suffer For Sound". To fill out the CD, I have also added 2 tracks from Fee Waybill (one from a Pink Floyd tribute CD and one from an Aerosmith tribute CD). I have also added a number of other songs from my personal collection (not Tubes-related) that I hope you will enjoy. Might as well squeeze as much as I can onto the blank CD, right?

The CDs are free, but if you win one please pass re-vine and pass along the SFS tracks.

How do you win one? Be the first to answer one of these questions correctly (one CD per winner -- but answer as many as you can/want to see if you are the first to answer that particular one right):

Question Number 1: Who is the oldest member of The Tubes (of the original seven)?

Number 2: Of the 10 members of KISS since 1973, who was the first one to use his actual birth name as his stage name?

Number 3: Who is the sole remaining original member of The Flying Karamazov Brothers?

Number 4: What was the name of the first movie to feature the Hannibal Lecter character and who directed that movie? (both parts must be answered correctly)

Good luck, gang!

First correct answer to each question wins the SFS CD. One prize per winner.

Off the top of my head, I think Satellite is off of Bill Spooner's first solo LP....Did he also record that with The Tubes? I have to look, I think my Suffer for Sound has the 10 songs and 2 "bonus" tracks....

the version that I have and had been uploaded before (but no longer available) as part of Par-Can's compilations has 12 unreleased tracks plus "Driving All Night" from the T.R.A.S.H. album (which was supposed to be the opening track) for a total of 13

Subject: [The-Tubes-traders] "Suffer For Sound" CD contest. Be first to answer trivia question.

Ok, well the version I received from a member of this group only has seven tracks.

The tracks are Color Me Wild, Dangerous, Holy War, Rock and Roll Hospital (Live), Suffer For Sound, The Rat Race, and Train of Pictures.

the version that I have and had been uploaded before (but no longer available) as part of Par-Can's compilations has 12 unreleased tracks plus "Driving All Night" from the T.R.A.S.H. album (which was supposed to be the opening track) for a total of 13
