Description

For many year's now,Ive had an interest in Britains rich history, traditions and languages. I soon realised that the modern native nation's didn't include South Eastern and Midland Britain (more commonly known as England).
However,Many people in South Eastern Britain today keep alive old tradition's,some of which can be traced back to pre Roman time's. These tradition's would include Native Languages,Craft's,Fayres,Music,Lore,Militaria,Living history..its a long list.
I'm also very aware that it is to our nearest neighbour's(Mainly Welsh,Cornish and Breton) that we must look to for help in understanding our true identity in the South East which I'm sure isn't as diluted as historical multiculturalists would have us believe,we just need to dig a bit.
So..this group has been set up to promote an awareness of our Native and Traditonal past and National Identity today in South Eastern Britain with the help of our neighbour's. Also, to discuss what part that play's in our identity as a modern nation.
Heated debate is welcomed here! Bad language is NOT! Structured argument's please!!! I also encourage use of native British languages in this group, but Unfortunately please do provide a translation into English.
At last lol..Welcome one and all to The Native Briton!!!!!
