Yeah I am going to the gig. Will remember to tell them off for not
doing gigs!
The fact its 7 years this year is worrying me! In 3 years it will be a
whole decade!
Of course I hadn't of been at school way back then I would have gone
to the gig with you.....what with me always liking The Magnets and
never ever slagged them off before I heard their music/met them *Ahem*
(tires to look innocent!)

Finally, there is some good news:

As we have just been informed, The Magnets took part in a song writing
competition with their song "something about that girl". They made it to
the finals and are now under the last 15 participants in the category
"performance".

There is also a public award the finalists can win and here you are a
member of the jury! Please go to the website
http://www.songwritingcompetition.com/winners.htm
<http://www.songwritingcompetition.com/winners.htm> , register with your

once a day). The Magnets are happy about every vote - so tell all your
friends about this competition and make The Magnets win!

Thanks for your support!

I soooo got lost on the amount of posts so I shall reply to them all
here!!

Nina, I shall sort through my photos at the weekend and then scan them
on Monday!! And we will meet one day!

Jess - I still have that banner at home - I was looking at it last
weekend haha. I love the side that says Nic - Give Us A Wiggle!! hahaha

Cat - I think we were friends at Ipswich we just didn't know each
other well? I also seem to remember you planned going to that gig
quite late and we had already booked our hotel room?!

Donnie was one of my fave gigs being with Jess and her rents. It was
one of the first times if not the first time I had been up there!! Was
that the same week we went to WL Jess?!

Ipswich with the white line was funny and making her believe she had
actually told Mikey and Colin that she confessed her undying love!!
haha!

Fun times....

I am going home now!! I shall post photos and more memories on
Monday!!

Oh and <333 for Ultra. I am in there top friends and they be
amazing!! - Yes I am bias.

When we told them that you were psychic cause you predicted Downtown
Train I asked if I was psychic and could maybe sing 'Fallin'' and
James was like which one is that and Andy sang 'I made up my mind
ain't wasting no more time' and James went 'Oh god that! no!' :-(!

And then they said Crazy Love is my song! Yay! they always look at me
when they sing it!

Jess: I remember my dad talking to Mikey at that donny gig saying I
listened to Giving It All That all the time! and Mikey said 'christ
even I don't listen to it anymore!'
The THRUST! hahaha
Oooh remember Gateshead when they were on stage and you, shiv and SJ
were the noisey table (me, Eve and Katie were quite of course! lol)
and SJ said something and a magnet said 'Oh thats Sarah-Jayne! Its
Sarah with a H and Jayne with a Y!' lol

Nina: It sucks about the lads not having many gigs, I don't want to go
months without seeing them!
Yes everyone tells me off about everything! I don't drink a lot and my
eating habbits aren't that bad! (*looks at the Chocolate Gateau and
Vimto she is having for lunch* What I am not fussy! (I don't even like
the cakey bits in the gateau...just the squishy chocolate!)) hahaha

The german fanclub wrote a post in their guestbook.
Someone was asking when they will be no tourdates and so the girls
asked Mikey.
This what he said: „There isn't much to report I'm afraid. We had a
couple of corporate gigs at the weekend, but other plans and possible
tours have fallen through so far. All in all it looks like we'll only
be doing corporate gigs and the occasional festival for the near
future, though we may do a German tour in the autumn"

Love me xx

as for hull and andy THAT WAS SHIV'S FAULT lol
we did a game for valentine's day and i said id take andy out somewhere
cos at the time i did fancy him (mainly cos he was the nicest to me
when we first met) and then at hull in the cafe they all turned round
and said so who fancies andy then...bumph all eyes on me...ive never
been so embarrassed lol and i felt so bad too cos he wasn't my fave
member anymore lol

thinking bout the video i watched...i seem to have a certain person
doing the thrust in the middle of camden...totally hilarious! i
remember sj running and jumping on mikey's back as we were walking
round camden too lol
