the site/house got broken into last night - professional job - they managed to
crowbar through the frame of the glazed door - lots of damage and they nicked a
load of the builder's tools and 4 of my appliances.
I have site insurance but haven't spoken to them yet - because I'd like my
builder to claim on his insurance for my appliances. He's under a JCT contract
and I think that means that he has responsibility for the site and everything on
it.
Anyone got any views/experiences that shed any light?
Thanks,
A very pissed off but circumspect that it could have been worse Gus
