The residents of USJ3ABCD, Subang Jaya have formed an informal Neighbourhood Watch group (NWG), similar to the ones set up in many USJ areas. Neighbourhood Watch is simply a scheme of mutual assistance, CARING and SHARING that serves to create an alert and well informed community.

We are a community initiated and driven programme aimed at enlisting the active support and participation of residents, in cooperation with local law enforcement, to reduce the opportunity for crime to happen. Contrary to common perception, neighbourhood watch is much more than just a crime prevention programme. We aspire also to foster good community spirits amongst ourselves.

For the mechanisms of this programme to work, the community has to support it because your neighbours know who you are, what type of car you drive and may be the first to notice a burglar at your window or door.

Our main objective is to foster good community spirit and neighbourliness among the residents so that we can come together in trust and confidence, and in the process look out for each other to ensure the safety and security of our homes and neighbourhood.

With a good & effective Neighbourhood Watch programme in place, residents become aware of, and learn to recognise and report, suspicious people and activities and enjoy:
- A friendlier and more vibrant neighbourhood.
- A safer place to live.
- Less fear of crime.
- Better life style by sharing responsibilities and caring for each other.
