Just a very informal meeting in the pub last night for me, Dan and Brenda. The
following serves mostly as an update and info sheet on upcoming events.
Please let me know if you're interested in any of the suggestions.
Best wishes,
Alison

2. John Morrice, a potential volunteer, got in touch in April and has been added

was reported as a success.

5. York Green Festival takes place on Sun. 6 Sept. at Rowntree Park. This was
our first very successful event last year. The deadline for applications is 30
June and it will cost £15. They have specifically requested interactive games or
workshops at stalls this year – I think they must have heard about our popular
Guess the Mystery Object competition!! Alison is interested in attending but
needs at least 2 other helpers to man the stall on the day. Please let her know
if you would like to be involved before 25 June.
6. There is a Charity Market taking place on Sat. 25 July in Parliament Street.
Is anyone interested in having a stall here too? If so, I will find out more
details.
7. Dan has suggested we have a summer daytime picnic in the park. Please let him
know if you are interested in attending this social event and suggestions on
parks, dates etc.
8. The next meeting is provisionally scheduled for Wednesday 8 July at 6pm.
Venue to be confirmed – possibly a different pub serving food that we can try
out as a new meeting venue. Suggestions please to Alison.
