Hi John,
Thanks for your message. No, we won't have any excuses not to make films, we can all goad one another on and collaborate. Have you been doing much stuff recently? Have members of this group been working together? Middlesex seems a good place to study and I kind of wish I'd gone there too; I've known a few people who've done performance-related degrees there.
Rachel Yates's dad wrote a couple of plays for Chicken Shed whilst I was working there; they were very good. Rachel is a lovely talented person; I was always in awe of her. I was only working in the box office there but being an inclusive theatre company Chicken Shed took the unusual step of allowing admin. staff to do backing vocals etc. / record sentences in our terrible Italian for their amazing shows sometimes if we were up for it. They had a series of writing workshops as well and I got to participate in some rehearsed readings of new plays written by staff.
Catherine

Hi Catherine,Welcome to the group . . Seems like there's a little enclave of Actors in the borough and we're all finally poking our heads above the parrapet. Good stuff. There's no excuse now for us all not to be making loads more films.I checked out your spotlight link and you've done some work with an old old mate of mine at Chicken Shed. I know Rachel Yates from way back. Her Dad was my English teacher at school and Rachel and I studied and performed at Middlesex together. Splendid stuff.Look forward to us all meeting up at some point and comparing notes etc.All the best till then.CheersJohn
