ITV Local are looking to forge links with the East End Film Society
in order to promote local filmmakers, local groups and organisations
via films that they have made hence my invitation to submit material.

To briefly summarise, ITV Local London is ITV's new broadband
television service launching this month. There is a channel dedicated
to community programming and shorts by indie filmmakers.

Criteria for submissions are as follows:

Shorts must not exceed 10 minutes

Subject of factual shorts / docs are London specific

Fictional shorts of all genres accepted but must be made by Londoners
or shot in London

Must have original scores or cleared permission for use of commercial
music

Must comply to standards of taste & decency – i.e. gratuitous nudity,
violence and swearing disqualifies submissions

Film format on DV tape or DVD

Some features:

Full screen playback function available on the site

A link taking you directly to your work will be emailed to you once
the film is live

No time limit on the duration ITV Local hosts the material

Immediate removal of films from the channel when required

Films may not be downloaded, they are available only to view through
a streamed service

Material received for launch - before Tues 27 February - will benefit
from press attention and mentions on London Today / Tonight.
