Would you like to make the most of the internet but are unsure where to start?

The Digital Women's Club Buzz Building event will help you squeeze the most from the web...

This seminar is being organised by Music Tank / NMK and is based on the highly successful Buzz Building and Distribution events developed in association with the MPG in 2006. This is the first of three events planned for this year and serves as an introduction to the Digital Womens's Club. The event is open to all, with applications particularly encouraged from women who aspire to be or who are already working in digital media.

The event will take place on Tuesday 20th March 2007, 6-9pm, at Juno Bar, Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JE. Map

This event will enable those starting out in cyberspace to best navigate the digital maze.  From website commissioning & design through to online sales and marketing, a panel of digital experts and online marketing gurus will discuss how to create an effective, online presence and develop practical online marketing strategies.

The session will comprise two topics:

Website Development - creating and maintaining an online presence

  • Design - development of a brief & good website design considerations
  • Site construction - bespoke vs off-the-peg solutions
  • Integration of audio - streams, podcasts and downloads

Online Marketing - practical and effective strategies in the digital environment.
