Please find below details of the Film London 2008 Company Placement
Scheme - launched yesterday.

Last year the Company Placement Scheme proved very successful, and we
would like to spread the word far and wide to ensure that the scheme
expands and builds on these successes.

Any help you can offer with getting the word out is greatly

COMPANY PLACEMENT SCHEME

Are you committed to training the next generation of talent for the
Film
and TV industries?



Would you like support and advice to improve your mentoring and
training
needs?



Would you like to expand as a company, take on more staff and increase
productivity?



Film London is here to support your business by providing up to 75% of
the GROSS COSTS of a 6 month work placement for successful companies
to
the Company Placement Scheme.



The Scheme will offer up to 10 companies in the Film, TV and Moving
Image sector (including Animation, Sales, Exhibition and Distribution)
support in the following areas:



* Funding. Film London will provide up to 75% of the total GROSS
costs of the work placement for up to 6 months.
* Human Resources Expertise. Film London will provide a
professional human resources consultant to work alongside companies
selected to assist on development of work-plans and improve mentoring
skills
* Recruitment Support: Film London will assist in recruitment of
trainees

* Recruitment Interviews: Film London will provide support to
companies wishing to hold interviews either through HR advice or
advice
from Film London officers.



In 2007, 7 successful companies took advantage of the scheme,
