Sorry for the general email, but there have been so many people who have supported and voted for my film, that it is impossible to email everyone individually, at this stage, in Spanish and in English.  At the moment I would just like to send an email to all of you to say thanks.

Perdonad por mandaros un email general a todos/as. Pero, la respuesta y el apoyo que me habeis dado ha sido enorme y es imposible mandar un email a cada uno/a en español e inglés. De momento os mando uno general para que sepais lo agradecida que estoy.  Imagino que ya os habrán enviado un email the yuglo anunciando el ganador del concurso. Si no lo habeis recibido, lo he copiado al final de este email. Bueno, las buenas noticas es que Muerte de un pez consiguió entrar en la final entre los cinco primeros. Y despues de las deliberaciones del jurado quedo entre los dos ultimos. Pero al final el premio fue a Los cortos y docus de Andrade. En fin, me gustaria agradecer a todos/as los/as que habeis votado desde lo más profundo de me corazón. El apoyo ha sido increible. Muchas gracias

By now you will probably have received an email from Yuglo announcing the winner of the short film competition. The good news is, Death of a Fish (Muerte de un Pez) was shortlisted in the top 5. Find below the link with the top 5 finalists. In the end the Jury's decision was that, "Los cortos y docus de Andrade" was the winner. For English speakers, who don't speak Spanish, the email you have received said who the winner is and also mentioned that, after they made the final decisions, Death of a Fish was one of the final 2 shortlisted.

Antes de nada, queremos felicitar y dar las gracias a todos aquellos que
han
participado en el concurso "Making of 2008". Valoramos mucho vuestra
colaboración.
 
El nivel del concurso ha sido muy bueno y los miembros del jurado han
quedado
muy sorprendidos, positivamente, con muchos de los trabajos, tanto
finalistas
como no finalistas, pero, muy a nuestro pesar, sólo pueden quedar cinco
finalistas.
 
El jurado lo ha tenido muy difícil y estuvo debatiendo hasta el
último momento. Les gustó la originalidad de "Crónicas de Mobu", el
reflejo de
un problema social muy actual como es "La Generación" y la creatividad de
"Conexión". Pero después de valorarlo mucho, el jurado se decanto por
los cortometrajes "Muerte de un Pez" y "Los cortos y docus de
Androide",
 
Finalmente, el ganador del concurso "Making of 2008" y el que irá a
la India es Alejandro Andrade por "Los cortos y docus de Androide".
