The Whitley Project has been set up by Elliot Smock to rebuild an Armstrong Whitworth Whitley bomber.
Wreckage is being recovered from various crash sites to help with the rebuild.
After assisting on the recovery of EB384 on 24th Nov 2001 I set up this Yahoo group purely as a convenient way of displaying the photographs to anyone who has an interest. You'll find pictures of the recovery in the Photos section as well as pictures of other Whitley relics and artifacts.
Since then new members have joined and contributed questions, items of interest and more photos of things Whitley related.
I'm trying to maintain relevent bookmarks and some information in the files section, too.
Please feel free to join in and share anything Whitley related or ask questions.
