If anyones interested, I've been through my magazines and found a 3
part article in Aeroplane Mothly (Aug,Sept,Oct '82).

In the 1st part, theres a very nice period cutaway by Max Miller,
Flight magazine showing the fuselage bays on a Tiger powered Whitley.

Also in the technical description it says... "The bomb bay could
accomodate up to four 500Lb bombs and in addition up to twelve 112Lb
bombs could be carried in compartments in the wings aft of thebox
spar"
