Hello Phil,
Yes, I've been following some of those channel 4 bomber crew training programs.
My Uncle has often thought that Whitleys don't get much press - very happy about this newsgroup to see there are at least parts of them in museums and perhaps a restoration of one in progress?!
He has his log books from the wartime (and beyond - he went on to be a pilot for much of his life).
I'll have a look at the OTU 19 web site.
Many thanks, Jonathan

Hello!
I am trying to get as much information as possible for my Uncle who
served in 77 squadron as a Whitley tail gunner for 30 ops in 1940/41
at Topcliffe. We know of (and have joined) the 77 squadron
association, but I am trying to compile some information for him.
Any contact with any members would be very welcome and I will study
this group with interest now I have found it!
Best regards, Jonathan
