I had to attend a trade show at osford Museum the other day (someone
has to do it!!). When the opportunity arose, I went off to vist all the
exhibition halls. As I browsed the models of WW2 aircraft, I thought
back to similar visits with my Father who always lamented the absence
of a model of a Whitley amongst the Lancasters, Wellingtons, Spits etc.
Then my gaze alighted on a 1/72 scale model in the corner of the
display - a Mk V resplendent in Bomber Command Colours. Clearly the
Frog Whitley of old. Recognition at last!

I can highly recommend this superb venue - Whitleys aside it is an
excellent day out.

It's great to hear that the old Whitley is represented in the museum. I'm a bit surprised there was a gap for so long, but I am of course biased ;) ... Museum...
