Hi Mike

New Zealand is a little treasure trove of such things. An Oxford turned up
after being missing for 40 years and was in easy distance of its war time
base in Taranaki.

Sir Tim Wallace's Alpine Fighter collection in Wanaka is certainly
impressive. I'm not sure if the ME110 or the JU87 is still there though.
Last I heard he had pulled three Hurricanes out of Russia for a
reconstruction project.

After reading about the Whitley Project I'm hoping to get up to Scotland and
have a look at many of the crash sites around there as well, even looking at
an engine block or parts of a frame would be a thrill.
