Loved your answer to Christa onto another list, full of understanding, wishing you would have written in a similar manner...

Dear Ute,
I am glad to hear from you and appreciate your noble sentiments to
redirect the acidity of some of my comments.
Out of context, sometimes words appear aggressive, misdirected, and inappropriate.
The trouble is that some people just like to rant and rave without having some regard for what they say. It is as though they will say irresponsible, nonsensical things that could cause some damage, just to indulge their desire to be heard. I am not a Christian in the full sense of the word, but Elizabeth 's fast and easy lack of respect for
the beliefs of one of the largest religions on earth prompted me to
quote a few passages of Biblical wisdom to her. Also, she has a tendency to state with authority the most outlandish things I ever heard, without regard or sensitivity for the people who take their
beliefs seriously.
Christa, on the contrary, is sensitive, insightful, and respectful of her world and environment. She wants to improve and beautify the world she loves, she educates herself and makes comments that improve and elevate our understanding. There is nothing sarcastic, trivial or put out of boredom by Christa. Elizabeth by her own words does not care about anything, just likes to “deliver a speech"
My lack of patience must come with a sense of frustration and futility with spoiled people who never went hungry, cold, scared, threatened, overwhelmed, sick or starved, moralizing, pontificating, and giving facile advice to those who are better than they are.
In Shakespeare’s words: "....who would bear the whips and scorns of time, the oppressors wrong, the proud man's contumely, the pangs of diprize'd love, the law's delay,
the insolence of office, and the spurns that patient merit of the unworthy takes ....."
Best wishes Ute.
