I know of a person who had a baby less than a year ago. It was a very difficult birth, with the baby getting hung up for a while. They could tell from reflexes that the baby was scared of what had happened.

 

Since then this child has been very sickly. My intuition today made me think that perhaps the child suffered a loss of spirit in the ordeal. Normally I would be of the opinion that the connection to the mother would protect a child from this, but now I do not know.

 

Has anyone encountered soul/spirit loss in an infant?
