Hello Sue The bands of power and the Chumpi Belts are the same thing. each Chumpi has an eye called a Nawi. The first band is black or dark green and  is connected to water. the second band the qosqa is red and connected with earth.
I was trained by Juan Nunez Del Prado this is the same person that passed to Alberto the bands of power.
