Being a lover of Q'ero cosmology and Ausangate, I am glad to find
this group! Even though
I don't do much online chat, I like connecting filaments with others
who deeply appreciate
the traditions of the Andes.

I have visited Q'ero three times in person, and the ways of being and
thinking very much
inform my spiritual practice, energy work, and shamanic teaching.

We regularly do despachos on the mountains around the San Francisco
Bay, where I live.
This being a time of cross-fertilization and integration now, we
(Greg Miller and I) were
able to do a modified despacho ceremony for 100 participants at the
first meeting of the
Society for Shamanic Practitioners in June 2005, and put together the
most comprehensive
written description I know of on despachos (you can find that on my
