Subject: [bookcrossingshropshire] Shrewsbury Bookcrossing Meet - Saturday 14 June 2008 - Boathouse Pub

Hello

We are proposing to have a meet for anyone at all who would like to
come along and spend an afternoon by the river in Shrewsbury,
preferably with a few books around, dogs, children and any other
added extras you'd like to bring. All are welcome - do encourage any
of your friends who may be interested to come and find out about
Bookcrossing too!

Thought we'd get there for about 2.30 but the pub is open all day so
feel free to come earlier if you so wish. Food and drink of course
available.

It is the day of the Shrewsbury Carnival and there are a lot of
events going on around the town that day so the town and the Quarry
Park will be busy. Traffic in town is generally pretty chaotic most
of the time at the moment while major road works go on so I would
recommend using the Park&Ride. The Oxon Park&Ride has a stop at
Frankwell Roundabout which is very convenient for the Boathouse which
is on Porthill Road/New Street.
