Subject: [BCMKN] Daventry mini-meet - Saturday 12th July
Hi all,
Just to let you know, there's going to be a Bookcrossing mini-meet at
Sadlers Fine Foods, 2-6 High Street, Daventry on Saturday 12th July
(this Saturday!) so if anyone would like to come along you're very
welcome.
A couple of Book X'ers expressed an interest in another Daventry meet
but, because of being away on holiday and then having a bug when I
returned, I haven't been able to publicise the event until now.
Sadlers is a lovely cafe/delicatessen at the top of High Street, next
to Market Square and serves gorgeous food, as anyone who attended the
last BC meet will tell you! Take your pick from a freshly made
baguette with lovely cheeses and meats from the deli counter,
gorgeous salads, homemade soups, and delicious cakes and meringues,
all served with fresh coffee, lovely fruit juices, creamy hot
chocolate made with fresh cream etc...
Parking in Daventry is free, and there are various car parks around
town. Most have a three hour limit but there are some all day car
parks too.
Daventry also has A LOT of charity shops so could be well worth a
visit to stock up on some more books! The Salvation Army shop has an
offer at the moment of 10 books for £1.00..
The meet-up will start at around 1pm, and I'll aim to be there at
12.30 -12.45. Hope to see you there!
