Hi,

Is there any chance details of the following event could be displayed on the worldveganday.org.uk website? We have various sizes of banner on our website here http://www.veganmidlands.org.uk/festival/banners.html  Thanks in advance for anything you`re able to do to help publicise the event.

Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Best wishes,
Kevin

West Midlands Vegan Festival - Sat 1st November 2008

World Vegan Day is a day of celebration for vegans everywhere. On Sat 1st Nov 2008, celebrate in style at the West Midlands Vegan Festival in Wolverhampton. There`ll be lots of delicious vegan food & 40+ stalls offering cruelty-free clothes, toiletries, cosmetics, campaign info etc. Also a full programme of speakers, films, cookery demos, entertainment, raffles, a vegan speed meeting/dating session, presentation of the Vegan Society Awards and much more...

World Vegan Day is an opportunity for vegans and their friends across the world to celebrate and promote veganism. The world's first Vegan Society (here in the UK of course!) was born on November 1st 1944 - started by Donald Watson and friends. So each year on November 1st (since 1994), vegans everywhere celebrate World Vegan Day. The Vegan Society have of course now found a new home, right here in the West Midlands. How many more reasons do vegans need to flock to the West Midlands Vegan Festival and celebrate in style!!

The festival is being held at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall in the city centre, 10 minutes walk from the train/bus stations. See our website(below) for a map, directions, car parks etc. The festival will be open from 11am - 5pm. Admission is just £1, payable at the door. (under 16`s free)

For further details, please see our website http://www.midlandsveganfestival.org.uk or call Midlands Vegan Campaigns on 01527 458395.

Over the next few days & months there will be Vegan Festivals in Bristol, Gloucester, and London but the Vegan event liable to make the biggest impact on the thriving increased rate of world veganism is The 10th International Vegan Festival in Denmark.
