02 April 2006 Lunch Run.

Well,, from all the comments it was an enjoyable ride as always,
departed from Carnival City at about ten past eight, via toll road to
Nigel. Off course here Chrissie started something and the bells and
whistles were audible from a distance. From Nigel we headed east, a bit
of tar and then gravel highway wich had Morne sulking under his helmet.
(How can they take us on a route like this??) But the road soon changed
to the joy of everyone. Some nice muddy patches and a lot of cosmos all
over. Water crossings and a great home made burger and chilled ale's at
the Moeggeploegkroeg in Val.

After lunch it was down the railroad track toward Standerton. Here a lot
of fun was had with lots of water. On to Roodebank for a smoke break.
After roodebank we all said out greetings and split into two groups and
headed for home with one more pitstop at Leslie fall where I ended up
falling into a ditch about three feet deep, and there go the Transalp
plastics again. A great trip and one every member should try.
