I run Michelin Annakees, because my local dealer Micheldever Tyres didn't have any Tourances in stock when I needed to escape the dreaded Trailwings. I must say that they have not been a disappointment, first class tyres, I do a number of runs each year with the Big Trail Bike club, which includes lanes and and some easy tracks and I have been very impressed with them, stick very well in the dry and and are predictable in the wet, which is more than can be said for the trailwings, which were next to useless in the wet, in fact the worn set I had were damn near lethal in the wet.
So for advice either Tourances or Annakees.
As for oil, you can never go far wrong with Mobil 4T, change mine regularly and have never had an issue.

Subject: [XRV_List] Oil and Tyres
Hi,
Finally bought myself an Africa Twin, now after a spot of advice...............what type of oil are people using and which tyres would suit it for road use only.
Basically its a 2001 model, only done 4800 but I need to give it a good once over as I have not got any servicing docs.
all help much appreciated........
