You're quite right to bring our attention back to the threat to our Tork Hall and thanks for alerting us to what is going on 'behind the scenes' I haven't read all of the info. you've uncovered, but it seems clear to me that we need to reconvene the Save York Hall campaign a.s.a.p. If we arrange a meeting, perhaps you could tell everyone what you've found out.
As you correctly say, we need to discuss a new strategy, in response to recent events and the work of the 'Steering Group'. As I recall, a report is scheduled to go to Councillors pretty soon. Does anyone know exactly when?
I note that the Steering Group has also been discussing PFI or PPP and I think we should be told what the ratilonale for this is, given the unpopularity and unreliability of such privatisation of public services.
So, does anyone want to suggest a date? Perhpas Tony could lead on this, so we can know when and if St. Margs. is available.
