thanks for your reply. Your stance of giving the Council 'the benefit of the doubt' is not one I share (and seems a bit of an odd position for an opposition politician!)
Unfortuantely, I am going to be in Texas between 2nd and 13th Feb. so will not be around for the Council decision. I am still very worried about the state of affairs and feel that it is essential that we, as the campaign group, have some clear expectations about what we expect from them.
At the moment, we don't know if the Council will make any financial commitment and if they do, whether it will be a penny of ten million pounds! I think, at the very least, we need to be going to that meeting with some minimum expectations e.g. a financial figure, say £3 million, any less than which we will consider an inadequate response by LBTH to the situation at York Hall.
