While I'm pleased that the Council have said that their recent action will ensure at least a further 15yrs of life for York Hall( and not wish to appear in any way churlish),but £4million is a MINIMUM capital requirement, after years of neglect and we need to be very much involved in how this will be spent and the working programme, otherwise we will find unexplained closures, delays and "sorry it can't be reopened!"We are still being kept in the dark as to the income York Hall makes, including T.V. rights and all at a time when the world could be viewing, premiere sporting and Olympic events.
I ask that we continue to meet and watch the situation with the greatest possible care.

Sorry I haven't been able to take part recently, but I'm happy to have been part of it somewhere along the line.
Next step - getting ££ from the Olympics fund to make it even better?
