Margaret Cooper, Head of Traffic and Transportation at Tower Hamlets Council, kindly came along to the LAP 1 steering group meeting last week and asked for your ideas for possible improvements to traffic and safety measures in the area. These will be collated and included in proposals for the Borough's future spending plans.
Margaret has now provided electronic copies of the handouts including a questionnaire which you can fill in and return to her via email. Please also pass or forward copies of this to other people who might be interested in expressing their concerns or suggestions.

The next LAP 1 event is to be held on 16th June 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm (to be confirmed) and will concentrate on the opportunities to influence or input views on what you would like to see in the proposed redevelopment of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital site (Hackney Road). It is felt that this development could act as a catalyst for other related regeneration of the surrounding area. The planning of this event is in its early stages, so if you have any views please let me have them!
