Hi Gabriel,
Good idea to have a place where we can collect comments.
I've set up a list of ideas in the files section with some of the
ideas received so far.
If anyone wants to add new ideas to it just download it, edit it and
upload the new doc. Lets keep it concise - Saying that you agree
with a past comment doesnt add to the list of ideas we need to raise
at the meeting - best use emails for that.
Here's what's in the file at the moment - Regards Mark
Comments for York Hall 5th September 2005 Meeting
Please add your ideas here
1. Plain, comfortable and clean (think project's budget) rather
than a difficult to maintain luxurious venue would be the way.
Marion Gillet
2. Get the basics right - cleanliness and functionality thats easy
to maintain - to save costs and keep prices down and diversity up.
Mark Mitchell
3. The last thing we need is to 'save' York Hall' in a physical
sense but to lose it a community sense because the marketing people
want to 'position'
the facility differently. There are enough luxury type clubs in
London already. Gabriel Ellenberg

through with the council by having cheaper 'off-peak' prices midday,
midweek only as a stop to being a community facility and
prohibitively expensive charges in the evening or at weekends when
workng people can go.
> Sorry I can't go to the meeting either - not in London. Is there
any kind of web-based comment/feedback page where people can
officially comment on the proposals
