Easy solution. Fix the bits that are broken. Keep things simple.

Bad solutions. Create an 'experience'. Spoil a good thing by adding
things that new age bookshops think are trendy, but will alienate
the existing users. Spoil a good thing by adding facilities ending
in the word 'therapy'. 'Hydrotherapy, Aromatherapy, Newageotherapy.'

Frankly if there is a marketing department involved, then hang up
your towels. They will change things in order to 'attract new
users', create 'synergies with the existing and new clientelle to
create a comfortable multi-user environment' etc. etc. It will not
be what we want. They will throw away 2000 years of Bathing history
(Roman then Turkish) to 'cater to the modern market'.

I could be(and hope) I am entirely wrong, and Yorkhall will open
with its tradition intact.
