Easy solution. Fix the bits that are broken. Keep things simple.
Bad solutions. Create an 'experience'. Spoil a good thing by adding
things that new age bookshops think are trendy, but will alienate
the existing users. Spoil a good thing by adding facilities ending
in the word 'therapy'. 'Hydrotherapy, Aromatherapy, Newageotherapy.'
Frankly if there is a marketing department involved, then hang up
your towels. They will change things in order to 'attract new
users', create 'synergies with the existing and new clientelle to
create a comfortable multi-user environment' etc. etc. It will not
be what we want. They will throw away 2000 years of Bathing history
(Roman then Turkish) to 'cater to the modern market'.
Look what they have done in Bath
http://www.thermaebathspa.com/spafacilities/ This is not what a
Turkish Bath is about!
I could be(and hope) I am entirely wrong, and Yorkhall will open
with its tradition intact.

Apparently what she describes as the 'experience facility'
(it's 'the Turkish Baths, but with more facilities' apparently), are
now destined to reopen in late February. What makes me think it
won't?
