Re: [Yorkhall] Update on Progress at York Hall

Dear all

I don't want to be alarmist, but I think all of us who care about YH shuold be aware that the current Council blueprint planning policy has York Hall ear-marked for some form of redevelopment within the next ten years, possibly including residential use.  Councillors from the RESPECT party have recently put in an enquiry about this and I will report back when I can, but we must stay together as a group (even by email) and remain vigilent.  Hope to see you at the Users Meeting.

Best

Glyn

Thanks for that Mark though I've given up believing a
word they say. When the baths closed in October 2005
we were told they would reopen in April 2006. Then in
April we were told they would reopen in October. In
October we were told the opening date was January or
February. Now we're told 'Spring'. Meanwhile GL pays
for a 'spa manager' to not manage a spa.

How complicated can this work be? Is it incompetence,
mismanagement, laziness or design? If I brought work
in a year late, I'd be sacked. Paul
