What About Scheduling Traditional Turkish Bath Practices 2 days/Week   Message List

Re: [Yorkhall] Re: What About Scheduling Traditional Turkish Bath Practices 2 days/Week? Reply

'spa etiquette' is mis-guided and I find it personally offensive. It implies that people are npormally abusive and have to be constrained. It also shows a lack of understanding of sauna/bath raison-detre.

I can fully understand the respondant saying what she has said here, but we cannot expect much else without explaining fully what this us about,

The users group need to distance themselves from the identity of the abusers of good practice who caused this draconian and rather ridiculous ruling.

i do not want to be in a bath wearing clothes as though my body is disgusting but neither do i want to be wanked at!

Dear Mark
Thank you for your recent email sent to James Bowden, as the spa
manager he has asked me to respond to your email.
I appreciate your concern on the attendance levels of the spa and
whether it is at a financial viable level to sustain in the future,
I can assure you that at this point in time, although mid week
attendance is proportionally lower than the weekend, this is not a
concerning area for us.
I will take your comments on board in relation to allowing
traditional practices to take place, however, at present the spa
etiquette is there to be respected.
If you have any further comments or questions then please do not
hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards

Pauline

exactly. the 'spa etiquette' does not respect the baths or the intention to relax and simply get out of the world of paranoia about people around you. Again,...

I think it's a sensible suggestion too, but I'm not optimistic that management would be interested in trying it. Would it be possible to hire the spa for a...

That too is a good idea but so long as you're dealing with junior/site management, the door will only open when there is a tool to enable such a thing. If...
