Re: [Yorkhall] Men's Trunks at York Hall

Where in Budapest?
In the Rudas you don't wear trunks, in fact the only pace you have to is whre it is mixed.
I think very brief is suggestive, where as a towel is not. Big, baggy things are part of the same culture, pretending thre is nothing there. They also might have like the look of them if they were flowery! Thtouristy palce at the hotel has people in both trunks and  loincloths because people are coming and going from the pools and the terrace.
There is no form of tight underwear suitible for the sauna, anything is a cause of bad hygiene and behaviour.
Suggesting that you are almost naked, wearing thongs, tangas etc is suggestive of sexual tension - don't do it! That is exactly what is the cause of the excuses for the draconian measure that have been introduced
There are unfortunately some who still want the YH baths to be a place for gay cruising. They should go to Spartacus, leave out publicv facilties and respect the neutrality of  the baths.

York Hall Spa - men's trunks

I have searched the YH / SL web site to see if they define the kind of bathing costume that men and women are supposed to wear in the Spa. It doesn't say.

I have a pair of really low (way below the waist) Aussiebum briefs, black with tasteful white flowerrs. These I might wear if I ever go there. I wore them at a Spa in Budapest last year and judging by the disapproving looks I got from the regulars I guess that they were a bit too low. Certainly they don't leave much to the imagination - but they're modern.

But there are always the costumes from Koala Swim:

I wonder what the acceptable limits for swimming costumes are at the Spa?
