Hi

If you get an email that says something about a new website and video, DON'T
openit, it hasn't come from me, and probably has a virus attached. I'm
looking into it

Thanks Jakie,

I've deleted the message in question off the board.

Always remember to run anti-virus software as well as regularly check
your system with Spyware checkers.

Might be useful to give a rough location of the car for those thinking
of viewing it Jackie.

Is it a saloon or Countryman?

I'm looking for some servicable inside door panels. My vintage race club thinks they should be in place for orignality. Let me know if you have them, don't know how we can ship them to Texas, but I'll come up with something.

My A-40 should be up and running in about a week. I need to get the
starter rewound and bleed the clutch. It will be back on the track in
September here in Texas. As you can imagine the car is a bit unique and
while I do have acess to a fair amount of BMC go fast pieces I still
suffer along trying to get stray odds and ends. If you have any speed
pieces for a 1098 that you would like to get rid of let me know.
Currently I'd like a set of air horns/velocity stacks for my 1.25"
S.U.s and not have to pay the full price they have in the cataloges.

Can anyone tell me what size the nut is that holds the steering wheeel
to the shaft on a MK1. I thought it was 1/2 inch fine thread, then I
tried a 14 mm one. They are both too small. If it is Britsh I need to
buy one quickly for my race car.

Part no. is 2A 6142, which probably isn't much help.

I've a box spanner that fits it somewhere, but can't locate it ATM.

As the list has been way to quite I thought I'd send a quick note to
everyone. My A-40 is at rest in the garage. My race plans are on hold
for this year while I do a bout with Leukemia. My doctor thinks he can
cure me and I'm confident in his abilities. Never the less I'm spending
a lot of time around the house with time on my hands.

Should any of you be visting Texas during the year please drop me a

area would be glad to visit with you.
