African Women Connect is a discussion list. This is a place where you can connect with other African women, collaborate, ask questions, share experiences and resources. Think of the list as a village square where African women can gather for chat, support and problem solving.

We hope to strengthen the relationships between women and break the stereotype that women can't get along.

We will do our best to help you anyway we can! If we can't come up with a solution, we can at least point you in a direction to get you on your way.

Definite no-no's are:
Personal attacks or rudeness, also known as flaming (you can attack the subject, but not the person);
Spam (ads, solicitations, long signatures - more than 3 lines);
Inappropriate language (swear words, etc).
Cross-posting (sending mail to more than one list at a time);
Copyrighted material (without owner permission and copyright);
HTML (use plain text, recommended settings "Traditional");
Virus warnings;
Politics or religious proselytizing
Excessive quoting (quote only what's necessary);
Large signature blocks (3 lines is the maximum so please use self restraint);
or any other breach of netiquette.
